Government of India have defined Industries engaged in manufacturing or Servicing with fixed value of investment in Plant and Machineries as Secretariat for Industrial Approval

Letter of Intent for Secretarial for Industrial Approval (PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION)
In the pre-production state a Provisional SIA registration certificate is given. The provisional registration is valid for a period of 5 years or till the date of commencing of production by the unit whichever is earlier.

PERMANENT REGISTRATION for Secretarial for Industrial Approval
Once the unit commences regular production a Permanent SIA registration certificate will be given to the unit upon application.
